t2 has been nominated for the Best Use of Technology in Education and Training Award, which is sponsored by IT giant Microsoft. t2’s proprietary software product “Academy”, designed for the private college market, is shortlisted in this competitive category at the prestigious awards. “Academy”, a product unique in Ireland, already secured the company the Innovation in E-Business Award at the recent County Carlow Chamber Awards.
“At the end of the day we just want to continue to do great work, which delivers real results for our clients’ businesses, but award nominations are always welcome! We’ve had an incredible few months in terms of being recognised both locally and nationally for the work of our talented and committed team. This recent honour is the cherry on the cake and we’re very excited that a Carlow based company is competing on the same stage as the big international players” said Andrew Tobin, Managing Director, t2.
Formed in 2004 by husband and wife team Andrew and Jane Tobin, t2 provides award winning website development, software development and IT support services to an expanding range of local and national clients. t2 will be competing to be named Ireland’s ‘Web Development Company of the Year’ at a black-tie Gala Dinner, attended by over 600 of Ireland’s IT and Web leaders, in the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, on May 21st 2009.
